Owen David Architecture

Owen’s pet side project: The Edge of Art. As well as an Architect, he is a keen woodworker with a dedicated patience and a keen eye for detail. Owen puts his design skills to work in creating finely finished hardwood picture frames, furniture and other items. Using recycled hardwood salvaged from project demolition sites and construction waste, he makes unique custom pieces on a single commission basis and can be incorporated alongside his architectural design services. Unlike traditional fine woodworking, where joints are often hidden from view, Owen prefers a modern approach, expressing the joinery techniques as a visual and structural feature of the craft.
